Join a Water Station

SERVE AT A WATER STATION

If running or walking isn't your thing,
we also raise awareness at the race by serving at a Water Station at the

Garmin Kansas City Marathon

and represent the Run to Stop it campaign through:
cheering runners on and serving water while wearing our shirts that help start conversations.

 

We are proud to host a water station that helps serve the 5k / 10k + Full Marathon.
These Stations serve all of the 5k + 10k + Full Marathon. This allows us to be a servant to the community as well as bring awareness to a large amount of participants in the race.


Volunteers need to be available for one of the following shifts:

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2024
6:45am-10:30am
10:30am-2pm

You MUST sign up here before the race for this.


Responsibilities include:
Filling water/gatorade cups
Cleaning up disposed cups
Cutting fruit to hand out
Handing out drinks to runners/walkers
MOST IMPORTANTLY: Cheering on the runners and having the best attitude and smiling!

 

DAY OF THE RACE:
You will receive information through email from the Water Station Captain on where to meet, where to park and your roles and responsibilities for the day.
